A self-conscious person never trips on a crack but lives in fear of how others will respond if they see her fall.  A confident person trips on most of the cracks but laughs with her friends as they help to pick her up.

I thought of this today as I walking back from class, staring down at the sidewalk, and realizing that I probably looked depressed and fearful.  And honestly, I'd rather trip on a crack than be that person.

Came across this comic on Left-Handed Toons.  I love it because I've always worried about the second-half-of-the-alphabet boys.

I had sprouts on a sandwich for the first time today.  It tasted a lot like grass.

Notre Dame is at a place where they have literally never been before, poised and ready to make history as the worst Fighting Irish team ever.  The Bears are falling apart, both literally and figuratively.  The Patriots and Packers (two teams I cannot stand) are undefeated, and Brady Quinn is (of course) still Cleveland's second string quarterback.  Basically every other situation is going opposite of the way I want it, and yet I still watch week in and week out -- waiting for what exactly?  I have no idea.

It would be totally sweet if the hockey season could start, like, now.
